The Argentine is keen to finish the season strongly and to compete for all three of the titles that Barcelona are still in the running for.
“There is still a long way to go in the title race, but it was important to win here to keep the gap as it is,” he said on BeIN Sports afterwards.
“We have some more tough fixtures ahead.
“It gets harder and harder to win.
“We’re not dismissing any of the tournaments.
“We’re one step away from reaching a Copa del Rey final, but we have a very tough match as we take on Real Madrid in their stadium.
“But we’ll go there to try to win and we are confident that we can do that.
“Then we’ll think about the league again.
“We’re going to try to win it all.”
Speaking specifically about the Sevilla victory, the forward said that he expected it to be as tough as it was.
“It’s always difficult to win here,” he stated.
“We know what it’s like in this stadium and we know the players Sevilla have.
“Things were difficult as we were behind, but we knew how to overcome all that.”
Finally, he was asked about the recent poor run of form and about what was different in this match.
“You can’t always play at the top level and we went through a run when, to be honest, we didn’t play our best football,” he said.
“That makes it harder to finish.
“When the play flows then things happen.
“We were ourselves again today and we had a great performance.”
